About ESL Compass

ESL Compass is a job-information platform for English-teaching opportunities in Korea, China, and international markets. It is designed to make the details teachers compare most often easy to find.

How listings are structured

Employers publish campaigns containing one or more individual positions. Each position has its own location, compensation, visa, housing, start-date, and application information. Search and position pages use these structured fields rather than treating a long advertisement as several jobs.

How listings are reviewed

Campaigns are not published automatically. An administrator checks organization identity, position completeness, application destinations, and obvious misleading or discriminatory claims before approval. Employers remain responsible for the accuracy and legality of their listings.

What an application start means

ESL Compass sends teachers to an employer-provided application site or email destination. With the teacher's consent, ESL Compass records the selected positions and contact details for the employer. It does not claim that the external application was completed.
