These terms apply when you browse job listings, manage an ESL Compass account, publish a job post, or continue to an employer’s external application destination.
What ESL Compass provides
ESL Compass helps teachers discover structured English-teaching opportunities and helps schools, academies, and recruiters publish job posts. Employers supply their own listing content and remain responsible for its accuracy, legality, and availability.
External applications
Application buttons open a website or email address provided by the employer. ESL Compass may record that a teacher selected positions and continued to that destination, but we do not process the final application or guarantee that it was submitted, received, or accepted.
Employer responsibilities
Employers must identify their organization accurately, publish one genuine job per structured position, keep salary and start timing current, follow applicable hiring laws, and use teacher information only for the job post for which it was shared.
Review and moderation
ESL Compass may request corrections or reject, suspend, close, or remove listings and accounts that are inaccurate, misleading, expired, unlawful, or inconsistent with these terms. Review does not transfer responsibility for a listing from the employer to ESL Compass.
Acceptable use
Do not submit false information, scrape personal data, misuse teacher contact details, bypass access controls, disrupt the service, or use ESL Compass for unlawful activity.
Service availability
We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service. Listings and external destinations may change without notice, so users should verify important employment terms directly with the employer before making a decision.
