ESL Compass collects only the information needed to operate accounts, publish structured job listings, and help employers understand which positions teachers selected.

Information we collect

Account users may provide a name, email address, role, employer type, and profile details. When a teacher starts an external application, we record the selected campaign and positions and the time of the action. For a signed-in teacher, the employer can see the account name and email plus an optional profile phone number. A teacher who is not signed in provides a name and email before continuing; phone number remains optional.

How employers use application-start records

Employers can see the contact details supplied by a teacher and the positions selected before the external application site opened. This record indicates an application was started, not that the employer's external form was submitted.

Retention and choices

We retain account and listing records while they are needed to provide the service. You may request correction or deletion of your personal information by contacting the site operator.
